Carolina Menjivar

​An assignment was given to my class and it was to create a portrait in Photoshop of ourselves. Along the way we also had side projects to do that would all lead in helping us get well rounded skills in Photoshop. The best part about this experience was learning various ways to manipulate pictures and make them look different yet similar. At the beginning of this project I had basic skills in Photoshop but as I progressed I began building my skills and learned many things. I learned how to create a cartoon out of my picture, how to clone a picture, and how to create a portrait just to name a few. As I completed this project the most valuable thing I learned was patience, due to the fact that if I rushed things just to get it over with, it would not come out how I desired it to.
